Artistic practices in exile – A comparative study of Kurdish and Ukrainian artists in Switzerland 

At the end of December, we will conclude our project Artistic Practices in Exile. Developed in collaboration between the Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB) and the Department of Social Work at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), and funded through BFH transversal 2024/25, the project offers valuable transdisciplinary insights into artistic creation shaped by exile.
Led by Dr. Darija Davidovic and Dr. Orhan Kaya, the study combines social psychological and theatre studies perspectives. We are deeply grateful to all the artists who shared their voices, perspectives, and creative worlds with us.
